All 🍷 Dinner 💪 Active 🎭 Arts ☕ Chill

In every other area of life, you can search for exactly what you want. Why should dating be any different?

Swiping gives you no control. You see what an algorithm decides, one face at a time, with no way to express what you actually want.

Nudge puts you back in control. Share a Spark, a date idea, and find someone who wants the same thing. When two people want the same first date, there is nothing left to negotiate. Just two people who already agree on the plan.

Questions & answers

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a Spark?

A Spark is a date idea or activity you share with the Nudge community. It could be "someone to try that new ramen spot with" or "sunset hike at Lands End." It is how you tell people what you want to do, not just who you are. When two people post or respond to the same kind of Spark, that overlap is the strongest signal that a real date will actually happen.

How does connecting work?

When you find a Spark that excites you, send a Reach Out, a short and thoughtful message to the person who posted it. If they accept, you are connected: full names are revealed and you can start messaging to finalize the plan. Because you already agree on what to do, the conversation has a built-in purpose from the start.

What makes Nudge different from other dating apps?

Most apps start with a face and a bio, then leave you to figure out what to actually do together. That is where ghosting and shallow conversation come from. Nudge starts with an intention, a Spark. You already know what your first date looks like before you even match. And unlike swipe-based apps, you can search and filter on your own terms, just like you do in every other area of life.

Why can I only see initials instead of full names?

Privacy is core to the Nudge experience. Full names are only revealed after both people have accepted a connection. This encourages you to focus on what actually matters: the plan, the interests, the compatibility. Not a name.

Is Nudge free?

Nudge will be free to join with core features available to everyone. We are focused on building the best experience first. Join the waitlist to be among the first to try it when we launch.
